A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, said Jojen. The person who never reads lives only one.

Last year was a game-changer in everyone’s life. Some changed for the better, but unfortunately, some went in the opposite direction.

It’s up to you to choose which direction you want to follow. You must remember, you're never alone! And if you think you are, it’s a pleasure to meet you. I’m here for you!

I’ve got 4 books I want to share with you today, as I’m sure they will change your life for the better, the moment you read them.

Don’t feel afraid about these book topics. Even though I’m a techy guy, I’m diverse. I love economics, science, music, sports, philosophy, and much more.

#1 Why We Sleep By Matthew Walker

Why We Sleep

A neuroscientist shows hot a good night’s shut-eye can make us cleverer, more attractive, slimmer, happier, healthier, and ward off cancer…

There’s no way I can’t rate this one as a five-star book.

In his book, Matthew explains all the science behind the simple act of sleeping. Such action may seem simple, but he shows all the complex and beautiful science behind it, in a simple, concise, and understandable way.

Most of us undervalue sleep. We think we’re 24/7 superheroes, that we can easily cut some hours of sleep without consequences. But we’re wrong.

The same way that with sleep absence we stop thinking straight, that our immune system gets weaker and we’ve got less energy, the other way around happens. With sleep, we learn faster, we feel healthier, more attractive, and so on.

#2 The Shallows By Nicholas Carr

The Shallows

The internet is an awesome tool that exponentially increases our evolution in many ways, mainly how society communicates and works, but with great powers comes great responsibilities.

Nicholas brings to the table a debate about all the sacrifices created by all the tech tools.

Should our ability to read and think be deeply affected by the benefit of faster communications or a massive amount of information?

By a cognitive and behavioral effects walkthrough, we start to be aware and sense how our lives are getting affected.

You don’t feel you have an addiction? Read it, and leave in the comments what you’ve found.

The Internet is so big, so powerful, and pointless that for some people it is a complete substitute for life. — Andrew Brown

#3 The Simple Path to Wealth

The Simple Path to Wealth

You might start off disregarding this topic. Investing might seem complex, and only people with significant amounts of financial freedom can do it, but that’s not true, and JL Collins explains to you why.

JL Collins has been an investor since 1975. This book has come out as a result of several letters he wrote to his daughter about money and investing. Mainly to remove his daughter's concerns.

By a proven plan, JL shows you that you don’t need those intimidating and complex strategies presented by our managers, you don’t need to be an active trader to make money. You’ll easily learn they’re playing a loser’s game.

If you think ‘investing is boring’ and ‘investing is hard’, this book will show you wrong.

If you shoot for the stars, you’ll at least hit the moon — T. Harv Eker

#4 Atomic Habits

Atomic Habits

Last but not least, we couldn’t miss the famous Atomic habits.

If you feel struggling to stick to a plan, this is your book!

Take my word, I’m a proven result of such a system.

James Clear talks about the current obstacles everyone faces whenever they want to start a habit, from the process of peeking at them, to how to maintain them.

People tend to think that if you want to change your life, you need to think big, but that’s not accurate. By exploring the compound effects of numerous small decisions, your life may change faster than you think.

If you’re looking for a book that might have a transformative effect on your career, your relationships, and your life, you should have a look at this one.

You should be far more concerned with your current trajectory than with your current results.

#Conclusion

I’m sure if you choose to read at least one of them, your life will change in one direction at least.

Let me know in the comments, which books changed your way of thinking, behaving, and even look at life.

See you in the next article!
